See my rights through my eyes

Tuesday 18 November 2014

Children are experts for themselves and should be asked about the problems they are facing with, stated members of the Children Panel, advisors to the Ombudsmen institutions and representatives of child-led groups from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia at the conference on National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs) for Children “Child Rights – Turning concept into reality” held in Sarajevo at the beginning of November. That was the first one in a series of events marking the 25th anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Save the Children marks the anniversary all over the world with slogan “See my rights through my eyes“.

This week we will continue with activities aimed at promotion of implementation of this international agreement adopted by 193 countries of the world.
