Terms of Reference for a consultant to develop of economic cost-benefit analysis relating to the transformation of the 2 special schools in Tuzla into Resource Centers

The main objective of the consultancy is to develop an economic cost-benefit analysis to examines whether the transformation of the 2 special schools in resource centers is economically viable and sustainable. The transformation process involves comprehensive reorganization of the existing system over an extended period, and the analysis has to provide an overview of the costs behind the transformation. Therefore, Save the Children invites requests for proposal from various experienced individual consultants and/or agencies to develop an economic cost-benefit analysis of the transformation process. The expert is expected to develop and finalize an economic cost-benefit analysis by analyzing legal, financial, and context-related aspects and will consider the best interest of children and their families. The study aims to lay solid facts and foundations for the implementation of the transformation process in an environment that is known for being complex and sensitive.

Projekat TABLA i STEAM laboratorije za kreativnost i inovativnost učenika

Mislim da je STEAM kabinet, kabinet budućnosti i mislim da je odlična podloga za moje dalje školovanje!“ izjavila je Ajna Sokolović učenica 8.razreda osnovne škole Grbavica I u kojoj je upriličeno predstavljanje Projekta opšteg obrazovanja TABLA i simbolično otvaranje 28 STEAM laboratorija u Kantonu Sarajevo.

“Terms of Reference for a consultant to facilitate the process of the review of the Strategy of Tuzla Canton as a part of project Inclusive4All: Inclusive education for all children in Bosnia and Herzegovina.”

This consultancy’s main objective is to support the working group members nominated by the Ministry of Education and Science to review the Cantonal strategy for the inclusion of children with disabilities in the regular education system by facilitating meetings and record keeping. In cooperation with the Pedagogical Institute, the Cantonal Ministry of Education and Sciences leads the process and appointed a working group with cantonal experts from the education, health, and welfare sectors.SC, therefore, invite requests for proposal from various experienced individual consultants to support this process of revision of the Cantonal strategy.

Terms of Reference for providing supervision services to SCI frontline workers in three areas Una-Sana Canton, Tuzla Canton and Sarajevo Canton

The purpose of this Program component will be to provide supportive supervision to SCI employees in Una-Sana Canton, Tuzla Canton and Sarajevo Canton engaged as front line workers in the emergency response to migrant crisis in BiH. Supportive supervision is a process of helping staff to better cope and deal with daily challenges and to, through facilitated self-reflection, build own resilience and develop competencies to preserve own mental health and prevent burn out despite stressful work environment, thus indirectly ensuring quality of services provided to children and families they work with directly.

Terms of Reference for Agency, Company or Organization to conduct communication strategy/campaign highlighting TABLA Project results

Save the Children in North West Balkans is seeking an Agency/Company/Organization to plan and implement communication strategy/ public information campaign on results achieved through the implementation of the project General Education Activity – TABLA.TABLA aims to align pre-service curricula with CCC, and integrate 4Cs and PPDM into pre-service training. TABLA will institutionalize and incentivize professional development to support teachers’ career-long learning and build peer mentorship mechanisms into both pre- and in-service training. The project will design a STEM education package and certification, and work with ministries of education (MoEs) and pedagogical institutes to increase their efficiency and accountability. Educational policymakers and school leadership will be incentivized to support reforms by equipping schools with STEM labs.
All of these efforts yield models of good practice that need to be promoted as the path towards improving education in BiH. At the same time, relevant target groups need to better understand the need for educational reforms in order to be empowered to demand more vigorous action from relevant authorities.
